Lord,
Life is tough.
Sometimes it takes me
down a difficult path
that is unavoidable.

But I have a choice;
I can do this the hard way,
on my own
or I can do it the easier way,
with you by my side
to take me by the hand
and to offer me
comfort, strength
and peace.

Lord,
I have a difficult path before me.
Will you walk with me?
