Today, on the Feast of the Presentation,
I come before My God
and I present myself to Him,
just the way I am
with all of my strengths and weaknesses,
aspects of myself
that I am comfortable with
and aspects of myself
that I struggle to understand.

I present to My God
the people in my life
who are precious to me
and all of the things
that worry and preoccupy me.

And as I stand before My God
I become aware that what I need to do
is to place all of my cares
into His gentle, capable hands
for safe-keeping.

Today, on the Feast of the Presentation,
I rest, at peace,
in the presence of My God.
