Lord,
today at Mass I had a sense
of how imperfect we all are.

Each of us
has faults and failings,
flaws and shortcomings,
quirks and eccentricities.

We are all imperfect,
we are all unique
and yet each of us
has been lovingly created
in your image.

Each of us is very much
a part of your plan.

Lord,
help me not to be hasty
in my judgement of others
as we all struggle,
in our humanity,
to capture the tiny spark of the Divine
that is in each one of us.
