There’s a forest on our patio –
formed of dozens of baby trees,
all lined-up in pots.
Spikey pines and conifers,
slender birch and zig-zaggy hawthorn,
inches-tall chestnut trees
with massive hand-like leaves
and dark green, jaggy hollies (ouch!)
No sign of the hazels trees …
yet!

A miniature forest,
right here,
on our patio
and a sense of working
hand-in-hand with God
in the miracle of life.

Isn’t that marvellous?

Only one (huge!) challenge ahead …
where on earth
are we going to plant them???
